Lonely Planet Guides May Have To Change Its Name.

A new study estimates that there may be over 40 Billion habitable planets in our galaxy alone.

So it turns out that we may not be that “Lonely”  (I love the Lonely Planet Guides by the way).

That means that one in five star systems has a habitable planet.  Previous studies have suggested that there are 8.8 Billion Earth-like planets amongst those planets.

That’s more Earth-like planets than people on the planet.  Amazing!

Even given lotto type luck, that means there is probably some sort of E.T. life out there.
