Weekend Images Update.

It was a great weekend for imaging.  No Moon, no wind and no technical problems!!! Who could as for more?  Well, I could ask for a lot more, but I have always had a bit of G.A.S. (gear acquisition syndrome), but I did take a few images I did like.  The images below are all single image approximately 5 minutes long taken with my Canon 60Da and some minor processing.  When I have time, I’ll stack the rest of the images and process them for better detail, but for now, this will have to do.

Lagoon1600 (500)

The Lagoon nebula

Dumbell3200 (500)

The Dumbell nebula.

Elephant6400 (500)

Hard to see at this size, but the Elephant’s Trunk nebula.

Orion6400 (500)

Orion with the center blown out.  I need to process all the images to show more detail.

The Pleiades showing the wispy remnants of their star formations.  A little stacking and some more detail will be discernible.
