For a math and science geek to miss Pi day, you know I must have been busy. Really, who doesn’t like Pi?
In this case, apple Pi. Still, there is no denying the special feeling you get when Pi arrives.
It is so versatile too. You can calculate with it, eat your Pi, paint it in a mural. All manner of Pi can be found. The beauty of it is, no re-runs. Ever! At least none that we have found.
So take this opportunity to measure the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter.
Next year I hope to be able to celebrate Pi in fashion with a Pi contest at my firm. So mark your calendars for next March 14th’s Pi Day celebration and make up an excuse to have Pi. May the best (and most accurate) Pi win!
